About the Circle
Join a community of women choosing to commit to an experiential, year-long circle in order to rekindle and reclaim the Divine Feminine within. Learn about and re-engage with Goddess archetypes from various cultures and the seasonal wheel of solstices, equinoxes and cross quarter days (the Sabbats), exploring the Goddess in her many forms and bringing this sacred energy more fully and consciously into your life. You will be invited to work with ritual, shamanic journeying, witnessing, ceremony and sacred crafting during our time together. The year will conclude with a weekend integration retreat in a beautiful natural setting on Whidbey Island.
Circle gatherings will be held in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood on Thursday evenings from autumn 2009 to autumn 2010. All circles will take place from 6:30 to 10:00 pm.
October 22nd Introductory Session
November 5th Samhain
December 17th Winter Solstice/Yule
February 4th Imbolc
March 18th Spring Equinox/Ostara
May 6th Beltane
June 17th Summer Solstice/Litha
August 5th Lammas
September 23rd Autumn Equinox/Mabon
The retreat will occur from October 8th to 10th, 2010 (Friday evening through Sunday afternoon).
Interim meetings will be held between Sabbats to help integrate circle experiences and build community with the other circle members. These meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8:30pm on: November 19th, January 14th, February 25th, April 15th, May 27th, July 15th and September 2nd.
The cost for this year long circle is $1,800 which includes all expenses for the weekend integration retreat at the conclusion of the year. A non-refundable deposit of $200 will hold your place. After that, the remaining $1600 may be paid in a lump sum at the first Sabbat or in payments of $200 at each of the eight Sabbat circles. The cost for the circle is fixed, whether or not all sessions are attended or the circle is completed.
